  • Fixed an issue that caused the same platform player icons to appear as the cross-platform icon in the lobby.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented an immediate transition into a multiplayer session when joining using the “Enter with Room Code” screen.
  • Resolved an issue that could cause the game to hang temporarily when in a loading screen.
  • Fixed an issue that would occur after being invited to a lobby with all slots occupied, preventing the player from being able to join any other lobby.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a microphone echo when using the push to talk option.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a player to lose the ability to communicate over voice comms after initially loading into the game.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a crash to occur after idling for an extended period of time in the HUB.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the output of audio in any area when connecting a headset while the game is running.
  • Resolved an issue that caused a crash when selecting “Cancel” whilst joining a multiplayer session that the host left.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented voice chat from functioning for one of the users during active gameplay in a multiplayer session with three players.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the last player that is eliminated in a session to lose audio after being transitioned back to the lobby.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the host to be unable to see Wretch in Part 2 of Level 9 after level restart, blocking progression.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed player to grab key card from the Wretch's Cage in the MEG Basement when using a controller.
  • Improved performance issues caused by Water VFX in Abandoned Base.
  • Resolved missing translation for critical sanity loss moments in Polish.
  • Temporarily removed the shown “ping” from the lobby list. Dev Note: The ping shown was inaccurate and causing confusion. We have temporarily removed this while we investigate the cause and will reintroduce when we’ve fixed the issue.

## What changed **Controller settings** — Added option to invert controller axis for X and Y independently. ## Bug Fixes - **Gameplay performance** — Fixed occasional stuttering during gameplay. - **Voice communications** — Fixed issue causing players to lose voice chat after random time periods or when transitioning between levels. - **Audio output** — Fixed audio not outputting when connecting a headset while the game is running. - **Input gain settings** — Fixed volume being louder than intended and prevented input gain from being set to 0. - **Loading screens** — Fixed game getting stuck on loading screens. - **Cross-platform lobbies** — Fixed softlock when joining an in-progress cross-platform lobby and returning to the lobby. - **Invitations and lobby joining** — Fixed crashes when accepting invites on Xbox and when joining a lobby immediately after creation. - **General stability** — Fixed several other crash causes. - **UI interaction** — Fixed "Enter Save Game Name" option being interactable while "Return to Main Menu" pop-up is active. - **Arcade machine** — Fixed exploit allowing players to trigger final ending without completing all required endings. - **Localization** — Fixed various localization issues. ## Overall This patch adds controller customization and addresses numerous stability, audio, networking, and gameplay exploit issues.

  • Added cross-platform matchmaking via Epic Online Services (EOS) without the need to sign into an Epic account.

  • The ‘Show Body' setting can now be re-enabled if previously disabled.
  • Players are now informed that the lobby is full when they fail to join.
  • The ‘Apply' button now correctly appears when editing settings in the Controls or Game tab in the settings menu.
  • Fixed an issue in Russian where the added XP value was shown incorrectly.
  • Voice chat is now correctly off in both lobby and in-game if turned off in the settings.
  • Fixed an issue preventing the correct code from triggering the Security Terminal.
  • Fixed a rare issue where the ‘quit game' module loses focus with joysticks.
  • Fixed an issue where The Hub displayed difficulty information rather than a level description for the host when initially creating a lobby.

  • The Arcade ending can no longer be obtained by players who have not completed the other endings when using a controller.

  • Fixed an issue where the cage animation was not triggering if you stood at the edge of the dock in Thalassophobia.
  • Fixed an issue with an incorrect spawn point when entering Thalassophobia from Lights Out via the Hub.
  • Fixed a softlock that could occur when using the green slide on Overgrowth if the slide is safe while other slides are unsafe.
  • Fixed a softlock that can occur on Overgrowth when placing the last body in the Slide and instantly going into the Slide next to it.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the night-time animatronics to not appear in the game world in Level 94 if there is another player on the server in the HUB co-op gamemode.
