Grounded 2 Patch Notes

Patch 0.4.2 June 17, 2026

  • Reduced the streaming range of the player, so that less things now load at one time. This should cause significantly less hitching around the Park This will cause all resources to re-grow through your bases
  • Performance around player bases and the Park have been optimized to reduce stutters and hitching
  • Due to the changes listed above, we have changed the Omni-Tool to one-hit all resources that are re-growing only through player-built structures This will occur again in the 0.5 "Into the Abyss" Update on August 11
  • We expect this to be taken full advantage of, have fun.
  • Fixed various crashes in 0.4.2. 35% of the crashes hit in 0.4.1 should be fixed in 0.4.2
